Instructions for Using Shampoo Bars
To get the most out of your shampoo bar, follow these simple steps:

-
Wet Your Hair: Start by thoroughly wetting your hair and scalp.
-
Wet the Shampoo Bar: Run the shampoo bar under warm water for a few seconds.
-
Apply to Roots: create a lather in your hands, then apply it to your scalp. The Bar should never go directly on your head; it would just cause extra friction, leading to breakage. Your hair doesn't produce oil; only your scalp does. A nylon soap bag included with the soap shapes will help to build rich lather.
-
Massage: Gently massage your scalp with your fingertips to build and spread the lather, avoiding your strands.
-
Rinse Thoroughly: As you rinse it from your scalp, it will gently wash over your hair strands
Condition (Optional): If desired, follow up with a Royal-Tea rinse to close the cuticle layer for added moisture and shine.

Real Soap with Real Ingredients & a Touch of Luxury

"When you switch to a shampoo bar, you should allow 2 to 6 weeks for your hair to shed the chemical buildup before normalizing. Many people but not everyone will need to use Gypsy Lotion as a rinse once or twice a week to once a month. I use Gypsy Lotion as a hair rinse once every three weeks in the winter and daily in the summer. I also keep two or three varieties of soap going at once to prevent buildup. I have always done this, even when using traditional shampoo and conditioner. Your hair may not be nice during this period but will thank you when the switch is complete." ~ Jamie, Founder of Rabbit's Foot Farm
